2nd UCAMI Research and Extension Conference
The Second Conference of Research and Extension 2021 of the Catholic University of Misiones: "Building, sharing and communicating situated knowledge: the University as an actor-driver of development" aims to create a space for dialogue and socialization of research and extension activities produced in the areas of Health Sciences and Human Sciences, thus strengthening the link between researchers from different local, regional and national universities. In this way, UCAMI celebrates the completion of the first closing of the cycle of all academic proposals offered to the province of Misiones and its area of influence.
UCAMI was conceived in terms of an Institutional Educational Project with a strong regional impact, thus becoming a constituent part of society itself, taking on the challenges of reflection, social commitment and insertion into local and regional realities. UCAMI is using this conference to show its potential and to generate channels of dialogue with other university institutions and with the community. Research and extension are substantive activities that, together with teaching, form part of the university model that characterises our national university system. Thus, this Second UCAMI Conference aims to give visibility and value to the diverse scientific-academic productions of research and extension teachers, students and university graduates, highlighting their relevance, as they address problems of local, regional and national interest.
